Duplicating a process

Duplicating a process is done from the dashboard's process listing page's "duplicate" -action button, described in the "Management of a process" -section. When duplicating the process, the system asks for the following information:

• Title - The title of the new process. Pay attention to the recommendations described in the "Length of title and descriptions" -section.
• URL-slug -The URL-slug of the new process which is described more in depth in the "Creating and editing processes" -section.

• What do you want to duplicate:

  • Copy steps - The new process will be created with exactly the same phases as the original process.
  • Copy categories - The new process will be created with exactly the same categories as the original process.
  • Copy components - The new process will be created with exactly the same components as the original process.

You can utilize the duplication especially in situations where you need to create multiple similar processes. For example for processes that recur yearly this feature is really useful.
