Replying to proposals

Proposals can be replied to from the dashboard's "Proposals" -section, by clicking the Reply button which is shown in the "Management of proposals" -section. Proposals should only be replied to after they have been officially processed, and they have an official opinion or decision from the city or the municipality.

The reply feature is shown only, if it is enabled in the settings of the component and its phases. Enabling this is described more in depth in the "Settings for proposals component" -section.

In the reply feature the admin user defines an initial status to the proposal, which is one of the following:

• Accepted - The proposal is seen as executable by the officials.
• Rejected - The proposal is seen as non-executable by the officials.
• Evaluating - The proposal requires further handling and evaluating by the officials.

On top of the status the person who replies to the proposal gives it an official answer, which can bee seen by other participants on the page of the proposal. The amount of text written on the input field is decided by the person who replies, but from the participant point of view it is recommended to be concise.
