Participation spaces

Participation spaces are one of the most important concepts to understand within the Decidim platform. These spaces allow creating a structure for participation where different kinds of participation features can be added through components.

The Decidim platform provides different kinds of participation spaces for different purposes and participation needs. Processes are used most often when the participation has some defined goal based on a pre-defined process structure.
